On April 17th, in the afternoon, CRIC11 held an open dialogue session with the civil society organizations on the role of the CSOs in the mobilization of financial resources to support the implementation of the UNCCD through building effective partnerships between national and international actors. UNCCD Executive Secretary, Luc Gnacadja, noted that UNCCD is the only Convention that runs open dialogues with the CSOs and thanked the CSOs for their continuous support to the Convention. [Plus]

DRYNET partners were present at the 2nd UNCCD Scientific Conference and CRIC between 9-12-19 of April 2013 in Bonn, Germany. By participating in several events, as participants, presenters and moderators, DRYNET partners ensured the civil society view; experience and comments on the production of scientific knowledge and research are heard in a Scientific Conference. 13 of 15 organizations within the DRYNET network met in Istanbul between the dates February 26th - March 1st 2013 for the Annual Meeting of DRYNET. The first two days of the meeting focused on the Self Assesment of the Network followed by a day and half long meeting on upcoming events and plans for the future. [Plus]
